Case study: Organic Works

The Aim:

Following a major re-brand and re-launch, the multi-award-winning skincare brand Organic Works came to Hawthorn House PR to help them build brand awareness and position them as the 'go to' skincare brand in the natural and organic space.  They also needed support with the launch of several new skincare lines.

The Response: 

We created a bespoke in-depth PR strategy which identified the brand's key audience, top media outlets/influencers, and mapped out a series of monthly PR campaigns. We also crafted key messages for all the new product lines - working on news hooks and USPs for each product to show journalists exactly why they should feature Organic Works' products over some of the more established brands.  We monitored for reactive media opportunities on a daily basis and ensured that the marketing team were kept fully informed of our results.


  • Over 120+ pieces of coverage over 12 months - including product placements in Vegan Life magazine, Metro, The Daily Mail, Health & Wellbeing Magazine

  • Strengthened SEO with a host of high-quality backlinks to their website 

  • For June 2022 alone the estimated reach for PR was 39.7 million

  • Initially, this was 6-month project however after seeing the value that PR could bring this contract was extended
